This is a CONFEDERATE BLOCKADE RUNNER FLAG. It is NEW. Flags of this type were flown over the Daring Ships that defied the Union Blockade and raided Union shipping. They brought much needed material from Southern Allies Overseas and also sank many Union Commecial Vessels including devastating the Northern Whaling Fleet. The Last Confederate Flag to be Lowered at the War's End was on this type of ship.The CSS Shenandoah lowered the Final Flag in November 1865 in England. It is COMPLETELY SEWN. It is NOT PRINTED. This Flag is made from 100% COTTON. It has a Cotton Canvas Header and Brass Grommets. The Flag Size is 3 Feet by 5 Feet. This Flag is BRAND NEW and NEVER USED.
