This is a BETSY ROSS FLAG. It is NEW. Also know as the First Stars and Stripes. This flag was adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14th, 1777. The circular design was decided on by George Washington, Francis Hopkins and Betsy Ross. Congress did not specify a specific arrangement of the stars until 1912. It is COMPLETELY SEWN. It is NOT PRINTED. This Flag is made from 100% 2 PLY NYLON. It has the Look and Fee of Cotton. This Flag is VERY SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR USE. It has a Cotton Canvas Header and Brass Grommets.
